Dr. Omkar Hajirnis

Dr. Omkar Hajirnis is amongst the far and few trained pediatric neurologists in the country. His areas of expertise are with children suffering from neurological, behavioral and developmental disorders. These include children with disorders like cerebral palsy and developmental delay, epilepsy, various genetic and metabolic disorders. He also deals with children with behavioural disorders like autism and hyperactivity. He specializes in electrophysiology reporting like EEG’s, BERA, SSEP’s, etc in children.
He has a number of chapter publications in reputed textbooks like the Textbook of Pediatrics for Postgraduates, Algorithms in Pediatrics and Recent Advances in Pediatrics to name a few. Apart from this, he has published articles and case reports in indexed journals with high impact factors like Brain, Journal of Movement Disorders, etc to his credit. He is actively involved in teaching undergraduate MBBS and postgraduate DNB Pediatrics students.
